Synopsis La doña
Altagracia Sandoval (Aracely Arámbula) is a legendary beautiful woman, elegant, successful, recognized in society and owner of an empire in the world of construction, with a sad past. Victim of rape as a teenager. Just as a young girl, she suffered two very strong traumas that marked her and made her the unforgiving "La Doña" she is now. She becomes an insensitive mother who abandoned her daughter at an early age.Altagracia suffers a great emptiness in her life: true love. This deep feeling was born in her when she met Saúl Aguirre (David Chocarro), an advocate not only of victims of gender violence, but also of all those young women who fight for a better future amid so much unemployment, population and poverty.
Also returning to the life of Altagracia his daughter, Monica Hernandez (Danna Paola), a young and precious woman of humble origin, distanced from Altagracia, she abandoned it years ago in the middle of that painful past. Because of this, Monica has had to work very hard to survive and take care of her invalid father.
It is now when Altagracia faces the two feelings she had previously avoided: love for her daughter and love for a man. The Doña gives a turn of 180 degrees because Saul awakens in her the true love, a feeling that the Doña had decided to distance forever of its heart and its maternal instinct, although its daughter fell in love with the same man, she will be debated between the revenge For his past and the love of his daughter for a man.
