Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem tells the story of a 13-year-old Greek girl named Anastasia. As a child Anastasia was painted with a pose holding a sheep. And one time the painting came to Turkey and was seen by Sultan Ahmed who had just ascended the throne. He was the young sultan of the 14th generation of the Ottoman Empire. Because Ahmed really liked the painting and then Safiye Sultan, Ahmed's grandmother ordered to take the girl in the painting to Topkapi Palace.

After being taken to the Turkish palace Sultan Ahmed often meet Nasia / Anastasia. At first Nasia rejected the love of the Sultan because he had never been dating, but in the end Nasia also knows the meaning of a love with age increases. And he Nasia eventually became the lover of Sultan Ahmed and became his permasurinya. Even in the end Nasia also changed its name to Kosem.
