Final Chapter The White Slave
Nicolás Parreño begins to wage revenge against all slaves and especially against Miguel. Order that no one enter or leave Eden, in order to avoid contagion by poisoning the water. He intends to tend Victoria, Remedios and Milagros under his control, now that they insist on avoiding the sale of old Tomás to the mines. He fears that they will help him escape.General Márquez, sick and tired, decides to appoint Nicolás as Governor to take charge of the situation and negotiate with the insurgents a solution to the crisis. Nicolás Parreño together with Felipe Restrepo initiate the conversations to abolish the slavery in an exercise of hypocrisy on the part of the powerful hacendado that tries to take revenge of Miguel.
The well-organized slaves release the group that was to be sold to the mines, and begin the assault on Eden where Nicolas has been arrested and gagged Victoria, after having confessed that he knows who he is. While Don Octavio, the parish priest of Santa Marta, confesses to Lorenza everything he knows about the burning of the hacienda and the salvation of the little baby. He also confesses that he saw with his own eyes how he killed the true Marquise de Bracamonte and Sister Alicia. They decide to go tell the General, since he is the only person who has the power to do justice so many years later.
Miguel releases Victoria after a struggle with Nicolás in which Felipe Restrepo is injured. After an intense fight between both men the slave manages to reduce Nicholas, who ends up taken prisoner and later sent to the mine to forced labor. Mrs. Adela, alone, is forced to leave the hacienda.
A year later we see that Victoria has recovered Eden and there are no slaves. Lorenza and Tomás exert of grandfathers of the little Dominga, fruit of the love of Miguel and Victoria. Isabel continues with her health care career with Dr. Tarazona. Fidel and Eugenia marry. Remedios and Trinidad consolidate their love as well. Milagros and Julian are happy with their little daughter too. All of them, together with Felipe Restrepo and Ana, start a new life full of love and without slavery
